Uzbek Leader To Visit Turkmenistan, Sides To Ink Documents

From October 18 to October 19, 2007 the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov on the invitation of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhammedov will pay a State visit to this country, the report by Uzbekistan National News Agency Russian-language website has said.

During the negotiations the sides will discuss the issues of the Uzbek and Turkmen cooperation, the outstanding problems of international nature of mutual interest, the report has also said.

On the outcomes of talks the sides are expected to sign a number of bilateral documents aimed at intensifying the interaction of the two states in various areas, according to the report.
