The seminar-conference with participation of prosecution and investigating officials held at the Chief prosecutors office of the Republic of Uzbekistan,

The seminar-conference highlighted the issues of use and procedure of Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On introducing changes and addenda to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in view of the abolition of death penalty” and “On introducing changes and addenda to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in view of transferring to courts authority to give sanction for imprisonment”, which approved by Senate of Uzbek Oliy Majlis o­n June 29, this year.

According to Chief prosecutor’s office press center, particular attention was given o­n issues, which, can occur o­n process of use of laws in practice.

At the same time the plan of arrangements o­n unified informing in the provinces o­n above-stated laws was approved. Instructions o­n organizing relevant seminar trainings for prosecutor offices staff, as well as explanatory measures among the population has given by chief prosecutor during the seminar.
