To obtain a private visit visa to Uzbekistan, you need inviting person, who will process an invitation letter through the local department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Invitation letter issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan should be submitted to the Visa Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which will confirm and notify Uzbekistan Consulate General in New York about its decision. You can check the confirmation received by calling at (212) 754-7403 during office hours. You can also call at the same number after 6:00p.m. (ET) and leave your name, organization inviting you and your telephone number. Our representative will contact you on the next business day.

To obtain a private invitation visa to Uzbekistan, the following documents must be submitted to Consulate General:

All entries must be typed or printed in Uzbek (Russian) or in English. Incomplete visa applications are not accepted. A personal interview with an applicant may be required.

In case any person is declined to obtain entry visa to Uzbekistan, the Consulate General reserves the right to provide no explanation. If application is declined, visa fee is non refundable.

If you wish to send documents for processing by mail, please enclose a self-addressed return envelope of one of the following postage services: FedEx, UPS, Priority and Express Mail. Using other envelopes may delay the correspondence. Please be advised that the Consulate does not send documents via U.S. Certified Mail, U.S. Registered Mail, DHL.
